The MP for the National Islamic Tribune Association and Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for the Support of the Palestinian people Mohammad Ismail Al Emadi denounced the US President Donald Trump’s statements on his intention to move the US embassy to Jerusalem in violation of United Nations resolutions that recognize that Jerusalem is occupied territory, and subject to the provisions of the Fourth Geneva Convention, and rejects thereby recognizing Israel’s sovereignty over it.
Emadi emphasized that this represents a violation of the resolutions of the international organization and a provocation to the feelings of Muslims all over the world.
He stressed that the absence of Arab influence in the international arena and the deterioration of the situation in the Arab region and the failure of Arab regimes to take a unified and strong position, this is what emboldened Trump on the launch of such unprecedented and irresponsible statements and that will lead to serious political repercussions will expand the scope of the Arab Zionism’s confrontation
Emadi warned that silence to move the embassy to Jerusalem is a final recognition of the state of Israel, and thus Jerusalem the capital of Israel has become a reality which the world would deal with it, adding that Trump’s statements make the United States an unfairly mediator with respect to the negotiations file and the Palestinian cause as a whole.
Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for the Support of the Palestinian people called on Arab and Islamic nation peoples and leaders and scientists to take responsibility and the uprising against the transfer of the US embassy to Jerusalem and to send a strong message to the administration Trump and the world that this approach and blind bias to the Zionists at the expense of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people will push more to the conflict fueling and promote violence and hatred. As he called the international organizations and the peoples of the free world to stand against this unfair and dangerous decision and to warn of the consequences for the region and the world.
