Iranian Parliament passes a bill on al-Quds as permanent capital of Palestine

Iran’s parliament voted Wednesday morning to pass a resolution instructing the Iranian government to declare Al-Quds as the eternal capital of Palestine.
The Iranian ”Tasnim” agency said that this came during the discussion of the Iranian parliament two urgent decisions and attached to the law of support for the Islamic Revolution of the Palestinian people, where is was voted by an absolute majority with the approval of 198 deputies out of 226 were present in the Council.
The Iranian deputies also voted on a draft resolution attached to this law, under which the Iranian government would declare Al-Quds Al-Sharif as the eternal capital of Palestine.
The draft resolution had been overwhelmingly approved by the Council by 207 votes out of a total of 229 deputies present in Parliament.
