Speaking to the parliamentarians of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) on the occasion of the 40th session of the Executive Committee of the Union of Parliaments of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, opened in Dakar, the President of the the National Assembly of Senegal, Moustapha Niasse recalled the position of Senegal in the Israeli conflict and defended the two-state solution which he insists, “is not a claim”, but “a right”.
“We have never stopped fighting for the Palestinian cause. Our brothers and sisters in Palestine have been fighting for decades. We are all Palestinians. It must be guaranteed, respected and applied, an implementation of the inalienable rights of our brothers of Palestine in peace, security, in an independent and sovereign State with Jerusalem as capital “, reiterated the president Niasse.
“Senegal, he says, rejects in the most categorical and determined manner the attempt to Judaize the holy city of Jerusalem, which belongs to three religions: Jewish, Christian and Muslim”.
